Vi ved det godt....

Ja, vi ved det godt - det er længe siden, at der er sket noget her på bloggen. Vi kan ikke måske undskylde det, men der er sket en masse, så tiden er bare smuttet fra os. Dette bliver heller ikke et spændende indlæg - kun en lille hilsen med hvad der er i vente.

Foråret er kommet til Danmark og derfor nærmer tiden sig også for vores sommerdrikke såsom iskaffer, iste, milkshake (og måske finder vi på en smoothie) kommer frem igen. Men I må have lidt mere tålmodighed, for det er stadig kun april måned.

Derudover påtænker vi at starte et nyhedsbrev, så interesserede kan følge, hvad der sker hos Behag din smag helt tæt. Det vil fortælle om fremtidige events, tilbud, nye kaffer/teer osv, hvad vi oplever, når vi er på "kaffe-tur" osv.

Nå, det var nok for nu - vi lover at der snart sker noget spændende her!

Danmarksmesterskab for hjemme-barista

Idag søndag den 18. januar var vi i Hasselager ved Århus for at deltage i ovenstående arrangement og det var en KÆMPE succes. Super flot arrangement, virkelig gode præsentationer og godt besøgt. Vi er meget imponeret og håber, at det er starten på en ny tradition. Nedenfor er et link til et tv-indslag fra dagen:

New excibitioner and christmas decoration

After having the artwork of a very talented cartoonist/painter D-toon hanging in our coffeeshop for a couple of months, we are now showing the photo work of Mr. Palle Kruse and Mr. Tony Engelund it looks fantastic. Check out their homepages. We also decorated with some christmas stuff, not too much as of cause we have to look at it ourselfes all the time, but you can fell the christmas spirit. We wish you all a very merry christmas and a happy new year.

Sorry guys - it has been a while

Hi guys

I know it has been too long since I have posted on my blog - the summer just flew by - and everything happened so fast - WBC, 3 fantastic weddings, trip to Sicily, Fair Faelled (Fair trade show in Copenhagen) and much more.

But the one thing that really loops in my mind is that I am expecting a baby in March. We have kept it secret until recently, but yesterday I got a scan and there was life inside me :) (I cannot keep thinking of Aliens)

We are quite happy, was not really planned, but we are not getting any younger hehe

Hopes for Wonderful Coffee - meet me there...

Hi my dear friends

I am so much looking forward to Wonderful Coffee event in Øksnehallen. Øksnehallen was the site where I won the danish championship last year. It was so overwhelming that I won, it was a surprise as I knew it was a very close competition.

Coming back to Øksnehallen this time will hopefully bring back some of the nice feelings. Also to know that I will be meeting my friends from around the world.

As a board member I will have the responsibility for SCAE Denmarks stand (no. 10), so I will be there most of the 4 days - please drop by and tell me how you have been.
The SCAE DK board is actually only Søren and me, and as Søren is competing, he will be focusing 100% on his performance. I think we have put up a nice cosy stand with sofas and of cause an espresso machine.

Actually I look mostly forward to meeting all the people I have met during my career in coffee. I have participated in 3 NBC's, been to WBC in Trieste and of cause Tokyo and last but not least the coffee trip to Nicaragua. Baristas, owners, producers, cuppers, "barista magazine" writers and representatives from all over the world, I hope to see you soon. Hope I am not to shy to meet you ;-)

I hope that Copenhagen will fulfill its role as a very good place for the big event. Hope that visitors like Denmark and not get run over by the crazy bike riders. I just wish that everybody will think that this has been the best WBC etc. ever.

Weekend trip to Copenhagen

Two weeks ago we had an extra day off due to Pentecost. Therefore we went to Copenhagen to visit friends and family and of course coffee shops. We planned a very tight schedule as we wanted to visit and see as many places and people as possible.

It was a very great weekend with good coffee and food and of course great friends.
